Galloway Sound is located in Grove City, PA, and provides quality DJ service to Butler, Clarion, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Northern Allegheny, and Western Armstrong counties.  Our sound equipment and lighting system are peerless, and our 400+ CD library includes songs of every music genre. Galloway Sound maintains a high level of ethics in business activities and in entertainment content.  Although we respect artistic expression in all its diversities, we strive to play only songs, which are appropriate for family listening. Steve Galloway Disc Jockey and Master of Ceremonies Steve bought his first 45RPM single when he was 8 years old, and he never looked back.  He began sound mixing, narrating, and announcing at the age of 12.  At 16, Steve started to play guitar. In 2001, Steve joined the praise and worship band at the Covenant Community Church, in Wexford, PA.  He served as worship and youth co-leader for a year, while helping with the sound system. In early 2003, Steve co-founded the band Sideways Glance, for which he sang and played guitar and bass.  During this period, Steve began to research and purchase top-of-the-line sound equipment, hoping to inspire the fledgling band.  Without funds for a sound technician, Steve worked to prepare, setup, and maintain the system, while performing (not recommended). As Sideways Glance has been inactive for the past 2 years, Steve is now working to form a new band.  He continues to perform at and direct open mike nights and other events, while working as a DJ.  Steve also directs the CommonGround Young Adult Singles Group, which he started in 2005. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and has worked as a software engineer for 9 years. Lauren Davis Business Administrator and Music Consultant Lauren has years of experience working with customers and patients in the healthcare industry.  She is an excellent office administrator and a skilled customer service specialist.  Lauren manages the details of the business, while maintaining the delicate balance between perfection and efficiency. Lauren is well acquainted with many styles of music, including alternative, Christian, country, dance, oldies, pop, R&B, and rock.  She adds depth to our music library and keeps her ears open for the latest hits and for up-and-coming artists. Lauren is a fully trained and experienced pharmacy technician.  She is also a certified phlebotomist.
